on Tuesday that Gilgit-Baltistan would be brought on the same level as other
parts of Pakistan”
Addressing the
Gilgit-Baltistan Council, Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif emphasised that
corruption was unacceptable and all expenditure should be conducted in a
transparent manner.

Governor Birjees Tahir provided a briefing on development projects in the area.
During the meeting the Gilgit-Baltistan Protection of Pakistan Bill 2015 and
the budget for 2014-2015 were approved.
